I can't believe this summer is almost over and that Labor Day is just a few days away.
That absolutely terrifies me because that also means fall is right around the corner as well.
As a self-proclaimed pumpkin-a-holic, usually I would be thrilled with the fact that my favorite season will soon be here, but this year things are a little different. In roughly 8 weeks, I will be having our baby!
Aaaack! There is still just so much to do!
I have been so, so, busy lately (hence the lack of recipes), and I've had absolutely zero time to do anything. Long story short, because of my back injury and b/c of some other issues going on with this pregnancy, I've been ordered to "take it super easy" and, if I don't, then I'm going to be forced to go on bed rest.
Awesome.
So that means, I have to rest as much as possible while trying to finish up some real estate classes in Raleigh, prepare for Owen's arrival, wrap up some marketing projects at work before my maternity leave, and keep up with my blog as best as I can. That is really, really hard to do when you are only authorized to work 3 days a week and you are carrying around a ginormous belly on a gimp back.
Enough of my whining!
