I owe you, invisible interwebz friends, an apology.
I’m sorry for barely posting anything this week, but I promise I have a truly fantastic excuse.
I just can’t tell you about it yet, but hopefully I will be able to open up soon. (Right, husband?!? Sheesh…)
Plus, I was waaaaaaaaaay too busy continually promoting myself to win TODAY’s Home Chef Challenge.
I wanted it…wanted it bad, and I did nothing but “share” the link over and over again on Facebook, praying that my friends would help me beat out the other contenders. I’m still not sure if I won, and I’m not exactly sure when I’ll find out. I’ll be sure to keep y’all posted though.
This week has been insanely stressful and exhausting, and I went practically the whole night last night hissing and spitting at Will because he was driving me absolutely berserk and making me do things when all I wanted to do was sit on my behind and consistently check to see if I was still in the lead.
See! Pure torture on my impatientness.
So, to calm my nerves, I made myself one of my favorite summertime cocktails.
The Blueberry Crush…droooooool….nom, nom, nom.
This drink is simple, elegant, refreshing and delightful and the sweet, delicate flavors will seep into your bloodstream and slowly relax every teeny little problem that has been clouding your mind.
With just four simple ingredients, this drank has easily become one of my top 3 go to cocktails.
Since summer is slowly slipping away, I figured this recipe would be the perfect ending to the season.

Blueberry Crush Cocktail
- 1/8 cup fresh organic blueberries washed
- 1.5 oz. Stoli Blueberi Vodka
- 1 wedge of fresh organic lemon
- filtered water chilled
- Pour blueberries into the bottom of a glass and crush with a spoon.
- Add ice and vodka.
- Top of with filtered water.
- Squeeze in lemon juice and stir.
