Good morning, minions!

Thank you so much for you sweet comments on yesterday’s post. My mom is my rock, and I’m glad that y’all liked her funny story!

As you read, I am sick. So sick, in fact, that I finally went to the Dr. which is something I very rarely do (unless I need a Dr’s note to get out of work).

The news wasn’t very hopeful.

For the past month and a half, I have had all kinds of craziness going on. I’ve been exhausted, I’ve had nasty headaches & a super sore throat, I’ve had body aches, ear aches that keep switching sides…and so on and so forth….BUT I haven’t been coughing, sneezing, congested, etc. so I’m really not sure what has been going on.

When I went to the Dr, they asked me flat out if I had been exposed to…dun, dun, dun…MONO!!!!!!

From what I know, I haven’t been exposed, but there really isn’t any other feasible explanation at the moment as to why I have been feeling the way I’ve been feeling. So I had to get a bunch of blood work done yesterday, and I will keep you posted on the outcome.

Needless to say, I haven’t been able to get in the kitchen as much as I’d like to. Can you ever forgive me?

Until then, here is a list of recipes that I think will be perfect around your Thanksgiving table this year:

Fignomenal Cheesedate Thumbprint Crackers

Sweet Potato Hummus

Shrimp & Grit Canapes

Sweet Tea Brine

Bacon & Brown Sugar Sweet Potato Salad

Smoked Gouda Zucchini & Squash Casserole

Super Simple Sweet Potato Biscuits

Banana Pudding Cream Puffs

Greek Yogurt Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake

Pumpkin Pound Cake w/ an Apple Cider Drizzle

Getting to know you…

What’s your favorite Thanksgiving dish?

Have you ever had mono?

What are your Thanksgiving plans?

Love y'all!

No Thanksgiving would be complete without Blue Cranberry Sauce 🙂

These recipes look AMAZING – but I’ve been so out of touch I’m sorry to get back in touch and read that you have MONO! I hope you’re feeling better. A friend of mine had it in high school and was able to get over it fairly quickly but I know the cases vary greatly from person to person. Thinking of you!
