How was everyone’s weekend?

Mine was as best as could be expected considering I’m still dying, and I can’t leave my house 🙁

I feel like I may be getting a wee bit better though. I’m still running low grade fevers and am getting incredibly winded just by walking up the stairs, but there was a point this weekend where I did really feel better for about 45 minutes.

That’s progress, right?

If you’ve ever had mono all thoughts, suggestions, prayers, serems, elixirs, voodoo spells, and healing herbs would be much appreciated! I am on day 5 of a 7 day fruit & veggie cleanse so I’m hoping that will at least expel some of this funk that I’ve been feeling deep in my bones for the past two months. I think the freshly squeezed detox juices are on the plan tomorrow, so I’m really looking forward to that.

Enough of my sob story though! Let’s get to some pictures of our cats, shall we? 😉

This picture is actually from Tuesday right before we started our cleanse.
We love to play dominoes and this Kir Royale went with the game perfectly!

Lunch! Clementines, blueberries, pomegranate & grapes.
Yum to my tum.

Per usual, Lily snoozed the weekend away.

I enjoyed one last evening by the cozy fire & the Christmas decorations…
In my purple fuzzy socks, of course.

Weasley made sure to rub all over my toes when the socks came off.
He has an INSANE foot fetish.

Why did the chicken cross the road?
Because we live in BFE NC now, that’s why.

I sipped on a bomb diggity pineapple clementine smoothie.
Frozen, fresh, or canned pineapple + juice of 1 clementine + ice

Weasley got a hold of my feet again…
but this time he added the kangaroo kick.

photo (29)

Lily got a hold of a toothbrush…it was Will’s.
I keed, I keed…it was one I use to clean my jewlery.
It was clean when she was playing with it, I swear.

photo (32)

Weasley just wants himself a sunbeam…
sunbeams are always made for him…

photo (31)

Lily is such a snuggly bear and loves me so much…

photo (33)

Until her daddy walks in and she wants nothing to do with me 🙂
Ob.sessed.

So that’s it, but guess what?!?

I just can’t take it anymore…I’m getting in the kitchen and getting a recipe ready for y’all tomorrow.

*pinky swear*

Getting to know you…

Do you ever see animals around your house?

Did you wanna cry when you took down your Christmas tree?

Does one of your pets love your partner more than you?

Love y'all!

Aww, kitty pictures! Yay! I love the one with the toothbrush! I’m pretty sure our cat Frida loves my husband more than me. Our vet said that’s typical of girl cats, which is vaguely creepy, right? As I type this, she is intensely pressing her head into his face. 🙂

See, you’re assuming I’m on top of things enough to have my tree taken down? My mom was giving it the eye this morning when I left, so I suspect it will be down before she goes back across the river to her own home this evening.
