This easy party punch taste is perfectly slushie, and is excellent for any group gathering or shindig! Pour the goods into a punch bowl, top them off with Sprite or ginger ale, and keep it non-alcoholic, or freeze it then spritz it up with some prosecco for a wedding shower, holiday brunch, Memorial Day, or Father's Day. Either way, you can't go wrong!
This party punch tastes like my childhood...when it's kept non-alcoholic of course!
I grew up in Charleston, SC, attending many celebrations in church fellowship halls drinking icy, slushy party punch that tasted just like this.
Served in a giant punch bowl passed down the generations, the grandmother or mother of the celebrated would scoop out pristine portions and pass out the tiny goblets to all in attendance, smiling a syrupy sweet smile all the while. Don't you just miss those days?
That's probably why I love this easy punch recipe so much. Not only because it's such a southern tradition, but also because it makes a huge batch and is versatile enough to serve to any crowd you plan to entertain.
Serve it alongside a platter of homemade rice krispie treats, and you'll be the queen of the party!

Fruit Slushie
Here comes the best part! To make this pineapple party punch over the top, give it some added pizazz by freezing it so it's frosty AND fizzy when it's served to guests:
- Line a small baking sheet w/ parchment paper.
- Mix all of the pineapple party punch ingredients (except soda &/or wine) and line a large pitcher, or punch bowl, with a zip-top freezer bag.
- Pour the mixed juices into the freezer bag, leaving about one inch or so at the top because juice expands when it freezes, seal to close, and lay the bag down flat on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Cover the first bag of party punch with a second sheet of parchment paper (this will keep the bags from sticking together) then repeat steps 1-2 w/ a second zip-top bag, laying it flat on top of the first bag of party punch.
- Pop the tray in the freezer and freeze until slushy, 3-4hrs, or until you're ready to use. When frozen without bubbles, this party punch will last up to six months in the freezer!
To serve, remove the frozen bag of pineapple party punch from the freezer and defrost until you can break it up into chunks and put it into your punch bowl. Top it off w/ lemon-lime soda, ginger ale, or prosecco, and the flavors of the slushie pineapple party punch will meld together into a delicious frosty, fizzy drink that's simply delish.
Frozen Pineapple Party Punch Rings
You can always choose to make an ice ring, or several small ones, using a bundt pan or a mini bundt pan. Frozen party punch rings help keep your punch cold without watering it down. Simply add fresh lemon, orange, and lime slices and maraschino cherries to your pans, top off w/ the party punch, and freeze until solid. Remove from the pans, add to the punch bowl, and top off w/ the soda, ginger ale, or wine as notated above. Easy peas.

I loved this combination of flavors with pineapple. I was really looking for something cool to celebrate my birthday! The pineapple has the symbolism of good hospitality, and it combines very well with events and parties... and the taste is unique. I will definitely test this recipe.

Yum!! Can you help clarify the juices? Is it orange juice concentrate? And lemonade? What does it mean when you say frozen lemonade, defrosted? Isn’t that just regular lemonade in a jug? I’m wanting to make this for a wedding shower!

Leslie-So sorry for the confusion! The pineapple juice is a regular large can (or bottle) of pineapple juice you can find on the juice aisle. The cans of orange juice and lemonade are frozen CONCENTRATES that are in the freezer section. You’ll also need 2-3 cups of water to cut the sweetness. I updated the directions so check them out. This punch is PERFECT for a wedding shower!!! Let me know how everyone likes it? Thank you!!!
