I know I'm not the only one who has eaten a minimum of 357,000 clementines every day since New Years, right?
I just can't seem to get enough of the things.
Owen really loves them too! Well...he really loves to walk into the kitchen 752 times a day saying, "Uh! Uh! Uh!" while standing on his tippy toes and pointing at the citrusy circles on the counter so we can peel one for him. He'll then just suck the juices out of the sweet flesh, slop the segments out of his mouth and then try to feed them to me or grandma. When that doesn't work he'll either finish them himself or fling them to the floor. 9 times out of 9 it's the latter.
Isn't he just a peach?
Speaking of peaches, I'd bet they'd be pretty snazzy in this clementine creamsicle smoothie too!
But then it wouldn't really be a creamsicle smoothie would it? I guess I'll have to save that idea for another day.
I've been on a pretty big smoothie kick lately. I drank one of these smoothies every day last week. Hello! Chocolate for breakfast! I also know for sure that I had at least 4 of these the week before that. Biscoff makes everything better.
I'm super jazzed about my new Ninja blender so I've been wanting to make smoothies in them every morning. I got the Ninja Pulse which is tooootally affordable and works super great. It came with two individual blender thingys so I can make both myself and the hubs smoothies on the go plus it has a cookie dough paddle attachment and a dough hook, I think. It's definitely been pretty amazeballs, and I would highly recommend getting one.
Especially if you can manage to get your mom to buy it for you for Christmas like I did. Thanks, mommy! Kisses!!!
Anywhooz. This clementine creamsicle smoothie is bursting with flavor and is such a great way to brighten your morning. Feel free to add a scoop or two of protein powder to the mix if that's your thing (it's totes NOT mine), and you could probably use ice instead of banana if banana isn't your thing (it's TOTES mine), but I haven't tried it that way so I can't vouch for how it would be!
