Remember me? I’m so sorry for being completely MIA last week. I was overcome by the Bubonic plague, or something of the like, and I just couldn’t pull myself together enough to do much of anything.
With that being said, that nonsense pretty much trickled into the weekend, so there wasn’t much to document; however, I was able to get in the kitchen and make some eats to share with y’all this week!
Friday night consisted of nothing more than Jelly Bellies
and the movie The Raven (which I really liked). All
you buttered popcorn haters can just pack yours
up and ship them to me b/c they are my FAV!
I heart the black licorice ones too!
Sometimes I just have a hankerin’ for something incredibly
unhealthy and greasy and no I wasn’t hungover. I was thrilled
to see that I didn’t have to completely blow my diet b/c they now
have GRILLED chicken biscuits! I couldn’t finish it, but
those few bites I had were delicious!
I got to use one of my new toys while recipe testing on Saturday.
Where has this thing been all my life?!?
I then sat down for a snack and was appalled that my beloved
preservative & HFCS free Sunbelt granola bars have downsized significantly.
When it was finally time for a nap…this happened…
And then this happened…
I then tried to eat a healthy dessert, but I couldn’t handle it.
Sometimes fruit makes my mouth all itchy and this made me
feel like it was all busted and festering with fire.
Sunday was all smiles with stretchy kitties…
and sweet surprise cell phone love doodles
from the man whose “heart beats for me”. SWOOOOON! <3
And I said he’s unromantic 😉
